Coach Paul (E. Paul Wileyto) began trampoline at Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Illinois in 1971.  (Illinois high schools had trampoline as part of gymnastics until 1978.)   He attended the University of Wisconsin from 1973-1977, and competed in gymnastics as a high-bar specialist (alas, there was no trampoline competition). Paul started judging men's gymnastics in 1979, and has been judging USAG boy's gymnastics since 1982.  While in graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania, he coached the Penn Men's Gymnastics Club, which consisted of former members of the Penn Men's Gymnastics Team, many new undergraduates, and several graduate and professional students.  (By day, Paul is Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania, and Director of Biostatistics for the Penn Tobacco Use Research Center.)

Coach Marie (Marie Caron) began gymnastics as a child at the Turners.  She comes from a gymnastics family.  Her mother was a well known Judge and Coach, and her father was one of the original Muscle Beach gymnasts in California.  She is also a recovering cheerleader.  By day, Marie is a pediatric occupational therapist with certification in Sensory Integration (movement therapy), with 15 years of working with regular and special ed children in both fine and gross motor. OT licensed in PA, DE, NJ, NY.  SI therapy links trampoline and tumbling with proper neurological development in children. Master's degree in OT from NYU.
